Pay Rate: £15.52 per hour (Level 2) | £12.32 per hour (Level 1)
Hours: Flexible options from 12 to 36.25 hours per week, with casual hours also available.

Trafford Leisure is thrilled to continue its recruitment campaign for Gymnastics Coaches at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, Move Altrincham, set to open in early 2025. This exciting new development includes a world-class Health and Wellbeing Spa, a 25m swimming pool, a 20m learner pool, and a high-tech gym and wellness space. We are looking for passionate individuals to join us in shaping, launching, and developing this purpose-built gymnastics hub.

As a Gymnastics Coach, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our vision to inspire the people of Trafford to move more and live healthier, happier lives. What We’re Looking For: 

We are looking for individuals who are Level 1 or Level 2 British Gymnastics qualified coaches (or working towards). Your passion for gymnastics, ability to connect with gymnasts of all ages and abilities, and commitment to creating a positive, inclusive environment will make you an ideal fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a fun, positive atmosphere that motivates gymnasts to excel.
• Lead and support gymnastics classes with professionalism and empathy, building strong relationships with gymnasts, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and demonstrate best practices in coaching.
• Help gymnasts develop their skills, regardless of age, ability, or background, ensuring an inclusive approach.
• Be punctual, manage time effectively, and contribute to the smooth running of each session.
• Set up and dismantle equipment safely to keep the gym ready for action.
• Assist with administrative tasks to help the team achieve its goals.
