Welcome to our Pre-School Courses, specially designed to equip coaches with the tools and knowledge needed to run engaging and enriching pre-school classes at their clubs. Our comprehensive program focuses on fostering fundamental development skills in young gymnasts, laying a solid foundation for their future growth and success. With a blend of theory and practical training, coaches will learn effective teaching techniques, age-appropriate activities, and creative ways to make learning fun for preschoolers. Whether you’re a seasoned coach or just starting out, our Pre-School Courses provide invaluable support and guidance to help you create memorable and impactful experiences for the youngest members of your gymnastics community

Course Attendees Must:

  • Be at least 16 years old (If under 18 they will not be allowed to run a class on their own until they turn 18 this is to comply with insurance rules)
  • Hold either Club Coach or Freelance Coach membership
  • Hold a Level 2 in Women’s Artistic, Men’s Artistic or Gymnastics for All

If you are already a member, you do not need to create a new account. Please your existing account, if login details are not known these can be obtained either from the club or by contacting info@igauk.com. Please note if you create a new account, there will be no active membership linked to your profile and you will not be able to book a place on the course.

Safety Protocols: Learn best practices for ensuring the safety and well-being of preschoolers during gymnastics activities, including proper spotting techniques, equipment setup, and emergency procedures.

  1. Fun Learning Activities: Discover a variety of age-appropriate games, exercises, and drills that promote physical literacy, coordination, and motor skill development in young gymnasts. Explore creative ways to engage preschoolers and make learning enjoyable and rewarding.
  2. Building Confidence: Gain insights into strategies for building confidence and self-esteem in preschool children through positive reinforcement, encouragement, and constructive feedback. Learn how to create a supportive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
  3. Safe Program Implementation: Receive practical recommendations and guidelines for structuring and running pre-school classes safely and effectively. Explore topics such as class planning, group management, behaviour management, and age-appropriate progression.

Skills:
