IGA Awards 2024 – Nominations Now Open
The Independent Gymnastics Awards 2024 are now open for nominations. These awards recognise the dedication, passion, and achievements of individuals and clubs within the IGA community.
This year’s awards will highlight outstanding contributions across multiple categories, celebrating those who have made a significant impact in gymnastics.
The Awards Gala – Lights, Camera, Gymnastics!
The winners will be announced at a spectacular awards gala on Saturday, November 29, at the National Memorial Arboretum. This prestigious event will bring the gymnastics community together for an evening of celebration, entertainment, and recognition.
With the theme “Lights, Camera, Gymnastics!”, the night will shine a spotlight on the people and clubs that make Independent Gymnastics truly special. Guests can expect an elegant evening filled with inspiring stories, awards presentations, and a chance to celebrate the achievements of the past year.

How the Awards Process Works
Nominations are now open for individuals and clubs who have demonstrated excellence and commitment.
The nomination period closes on August 31.
After nominations close, shortlisted finalists will move to the public voting stage, where the community will help decide the winners.
Awards Decided by Panel Or Metric
Some awards will not go through the nomination or voting process and will instead be determined by specific criteria:
Club of the Year (North & South) – Based on membership numbers, competition success, and volunteer contributions.
Special Recognition Award – Selected by a panel for an exceptional contribution to IGA.
- Committee Contribution Award – Selected by a panel for an exceptional contribution to IGA committee.
